Types of Training / Certifications:
- On-Site (Level 1)
- Off-Site (Class A)
On-Site (Level 1)
By choosing on-site training, our professional team will travel to your camp and personalize the training to the camp. The class is generally an eight to ten hour training day. The training begins with a technical safety review. The majority of the day is spent providing hands on training in the water. Below is the general outline:
*Safe Navigation of a Towboat*Safe Towing of Waterskiers
*Safe and Effective Driving Specific to Camp Lakes
*Equipment Safety and Maintenance
*Summer Camp ACA Regulations and Standards
*Carbon Monoxide Awareness Training
*Orientation to Summer Camp Waterski Programs
Level 1 Professional fees: $225 per counselor with a minimum of 6 Counselors
Off-Site (Class A)
The off-site training leads to the Class A certification. Waterskiworks will provide the safety / training material including a safety manual, training DVD, and exam. The exam is administered at the camp's convenience. Upon successful completion of the exam, Class A certifications will be issued. Below are the general topics of the training material:

*Summer Camp ACA Regulations and Standards
*Carbon Monoxide Awareness Training
Class A Professional fees: $550 Membership per camp which includes:
*Safety Manual
*DVD
*Exam
*5 Counselor's Training Certifications;
$60 for each additional counselor over 5
