The Vision at WaterskiWorks
WaterskiWorks is a full service waterski company specializing in safety training, recruiting, equipment supply and consulting with summer camps across the nation. Twelve years ago, the partners at WaterskiWorks began training summer camp counselors in the northeast to drive and teach waterskiing as safely as possible. The early days of training allowed WaterskiWorks to expand and provide multiple services that save summer camps time and money with safety incorporated into every aspect.
WaterskiWorks noticed over the past 12 years, the sport's popularity and level of activity in summer camps has grown but the amount of training has decreased. As a result, accidents are occurring far more frequently, and the consequences of these accidents are having a significant impact on the success of the camp. WaterskiWorks recognizes that, in most cases, camp waterski staff are not receiving the proper training material or formal guidance on proper safety procedures and standards required to ensure a safe experience. Many vendors sell equipment soley to make a profit and do not consider what is safe and durable for the camp setting.
